No, our math lessons / tutorials are all based on topics so you can find and download only the math lesson(s) that cover the topic(s) you want. Our site search to the left will help you find the right lesson(s).

Are lessons like lectures?

No, pause the lesson and take a break when you want.  Our math lessons explain the concepts and then provide complete detailed step by step solutions to example questions. At the end of each lesson there is a series of review questions that you do on your own and then check with the answer that follows.

What happens after I purchase a lesson?

You have three options.

1. For Immediate sownload from the site Click Follow this link to view the Order Details.  Go to the bottom of the Purchase Order and  click the lesson link(s) to immediately download your lesson.

2. Go to your email, and open the @mathmadesimple e-mail. Click on the link to enter your download ID then click Start Download. If you do not see this e-mail please check your spam folder.  Please set your spam filter to allow emails from @mathmadesimple.com.

3. Login to mathmadesimple.com,  Your Order Details, select Account Maintenance.  Click View and go to the bottom of the Purchase Order and click the link(s) to download.

I am using an Apple Mac, can I download and view your lessons?

Yes, but our lessons are in ..wmv format so you will need to have Flip4Mac on your Mac.  If you do not have it on your computer it can be downloaded  (free) from Windows Media Components For Quick Time

Would you tell me, please, if practice problems are included in your lessons, or if, alternatively, you recommend books of practice problems that can be purchased? Thank you.

Yes each math lesson / tutorial includes carefully selected review questions at the end for you do on your own.  Pause the lesson at each review question, do it and then start the lesson to check your answer. There is no need to purchase any additional material.

I am hopeless at Math. I can't get through the material with a live teacher or tutor. How will these video lessons help me?

Math Made Simple video lessons / tutorials will help a you learn math where you want, when you want.  The "hands-on" approach takes you through problem solving in an explained step by step manner that allows you to follow along.  You can pause, move forward and backward to work through problems at your own pace. In addition, you can review problems as many times as you want.
